Jewelry Box – Ally Ameel

you would have sworn

that she was a symphony

and he was a conductor

he could have directed her

with the wave

of a hand

and by the quick lightning streaks of a white blur

she would be dancing

in a whirlwind of innocence

from being taught

how to waltz

by a man
